• CAREGIVER JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Personal care, transferring, ambulation, meal preparation, companionship, medication reminders and light housekeeping
• Follow client care plan and provide updates as needed
• Use special equipment and supplies as instructed and allowed by applicable guidelines or regulations. (e.g. special beds or mattresses; walkers, wheelchairs, or other support devices; braces; oxygen machines; etc.)
• Understand and make use of basic principles of good nutrition.
• Change soiled bed linens. This may include while a client is in the bed. Do not make beds for individuals who are not a client or in guest rooms.
• Ensure that clients are in an upright position for meals, encourage self-feeding, assist client eating or feeding, as needed.
• Assist client in arranging & scheduling medical, dental, or social appointments.
• Provide Transportation, if needed.
• Provide mental stimulation and engagement, social interaction, and reassurance to the client and family.

• POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Registered Home Care Aide (HCA) – if not registered, we'll help you through the process and reimburse you for your live scan form once you complete the set hours in the given timeframe

• At least 6 months experience (Can be with family members, Facility, Homecare)
